Why I Love Jane EMR

The reason I love Jane EMR is how easy it is for patients to book appointments. I’ve used several different practice management softwares and none of them are as simple and streamlined for patients as Jane is.

One of my favourite features of Jane is how it connects with Google Analytics, which allows me to track which marketing channel my online bookings are coming from. This is especially useful for any clinics running Google Ads, because it allows you to more accurately track the cost/conversion of your campaigns.

I honestly recommend Jane EMR for both new and established clinics. If you’re just starting your practice, Jane can scale along side your practice as you add more practitioners and services. For multi-location clinics, Jane makes it easy to set up multiple locations with different services and clinicians at each location.

One of my favourite reports in Jane is the product performance report. Every month we use this report to track how many initial assessments we received which helps us understand if our marketing is actually driving new patients rather than just clicks.

The insurance billing tools handle direct billing to insurance companies across Canada. Jane connects with Telus eClaims, Teleplan, and Pacific Blue Cross for automatic claims submission. You can also generate superbills for patients who submit their own claims.

Insurance management features let you verify coverage, track claims status, and manage rejected claims all in one place. The system calculates patient portions automatically based on their coverage. You can set up payment plans for patients with outstanding balances and send automated payment reminders.
